Qualifications: A Police Officer Applicant must be 21 years of age or older at their time of hire; must possess a valid Class A or B Missouri Peace Officer License and a valid Missouri Operators License at the time of hire. Additionally, the applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associates Degree is preferred. The Applicant cannot have any felony convictions or other disqualifying criminal history. The applicant must be able to perform strenuous types of physical activity and be able to successfully complete a firearms qualification course used by the Agency.
Working Hours: The position for which applications are being accepted includes evenings, nights, Holidays and weekends with every other weekend off.
Salary & Benefits: Hourly base salary range is $13.00 to $14.50. Additional .35 for second shift differential and .50 for third shift differential offered. The City’s benefit package includes dental, AFLAC, Lagers retirement and medical.
