Mayor Richard Sullivan
Greetings.
For the last ten years, I've had the privilege of calling Ashland my home. It's where my wife and I choose to raise our two children. Founded in 1853, our city has one hundred and sixty-eight years of history here in Southern Boone County. As one of Missouri's fastest-growing cities, I believe the best is yet to come for those who make Ashland their home.
Our location along the Highway 63 corridor between Jefferson City and Columbia provides the opportunity for small-town living with an easy commute for working professionals. Our top-ranked Southern Boone School District, along with the future Ranken Technical College Campus, makes Ashland an ideal place to raise and educate a growing family.
Ashland's economic future is bright! Continuous residential growth makes our city a great place where small businesses can flourish. There are many commercial business development opportunities ahead for successful investors. This combined growth's long-term effects will continue to make Ashland a desirable place to live, work, and play. As mayor, I am committed to keeping Ashland always growing forward!
