The City of Ashland Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining more than 50 miles of roadway and 20 miles of sidewalks. The department is responsible for snow removal, road repairs, coordinating mill and overlay projects with third party vendors, and working with MODOT and Boone County to ensure all roads used by Ashland residents are as safe as possible.
