Solid Waste Services

Trash is picked up one time a week by Republic Waste Services. Please place your cart at the curb by 6:00 a.m. To report any problems with trash pick up, please contact Ashland City Hall at 657-2091. Items that can not be picked up are appliances, yard waste, tires, car parts, batteries, motor oils, explosives, paint and hazardous wastes. Special pick-ups for large items may be made by contacting Republic Services at 573-635-8805.

Recycling

Recycling bins are located at 5260 W. Red Tail Dr. (next to the south water tower). Bins are provided for collection of newspaper, tin cans, aluminum, plastic, and cardboard. ALL OTHER ITEMS ARE CONSIDERED ILLEGAL DUMPING AND VIOLATORS WILL BE ISSUED A CITATION.

Yard Waste
Curbside residential yard waste collection is provided by the City through a contract with Salter Lawn Services. Yard waste is collected every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the year. Residents must call Salter Lawn Services at 573-657-2455 during business hours, Monday through Friday to be placed on the yard waste collection route for the next pickup date. Please see the informational packet below for additional details regarding acceptable materials and manner of collection.

Ashland City Hall

Ashland City Hall is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Ashland Police Department is located at 101 W. Broadway. The Ashland Police department non-emergency number is 311 or (573) 442-6131 and the dispatcher will contact the officer on duty. In case of emergency, please call 911.

Fire Protection

The Southern Boone Fire Protection District can only be reached through 911, as it is all volunteer. Non-emergency calls to the Ashland Fire Station may be placed by dialing 573-657-2370.
